HC Heritage Farm represent the generations whose faith, hard work, and stewardship laid the foundation for everything we're building today.
Their legacy isn't measured only in acres or cattle. It's found in the values they've passed down: working hard, caring for the land, putting family first, and leaving something better for the next generation.
Inspired by that heritage, we're continuing the story.
When our son, Taden, dreamed of creating a pumpkin patch at just fifteen years old, it became more than a school project or a seasonal attraction. It became an opportunity for our family to build something together—something that invites others to experience the simple joys of farm life, make lasting memories, and become part of a tradition that's only just beginning.
HC Heritage Farm is still a working farm, but it's also becoming a place where families can slow down, reconnect, and celebrate the seasons together.
We're grateful for the generations who came before us, excited for the generations still to come, and thankful you've chosen to be part of the journey.
The first pumpkins are in the ground, and we're excited to begin the very first season of Merkel's Pumpkin Patch.
Created by Taden and supported by the entire family, this new tradition is being built one seed, one row, and one season at a time.
